We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Consultant to support the delivery and embedding of a comprehensive Risk Management Framework with key stakeholders and the first line of defence. The role involves working closely with senior leadership to drive change, influence strategic decisions, and ensure effective risk management practices across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and embedding of the Risk Management Framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards. Collaborate and influence key stakeholders within the first line of defence to drive risk management initiatives and foster a risk-aware culture. Develop and maintain risk appetite statements, risk registers, and risk controls assurance practices. Provide expert guidance on risk management principles, methodologies, and tools, ensuring robust risk and control frameworks are in place. Support stakeholders with risk-related decision-making, balancing strategic objectives with effective risk mitigation. Communicate risk information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written form, to diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure the successful delivery of risk initiatives. Inspire and motivate the team to adopt and champion risk management practices. Coach and mentor individuals, providing both technical expertise and guidance on soft skills to promote development and improvement. Person Specification:

Senior Leadership Experience:

Significant experience in enterprise and operational risk management, including the ability to lead teams and drive change. Risk Management Expertise:

Proven track record of embedding risk management frameworks into first-line operations, with a focus on influencing change through collaboration. Certification:

Professional certification in risk management (e.g., CRM) preferred. Leadership & Influence:

Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams, fostering an environment of change and continuous improvement in risk management practices. Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools, with hands-on experience in developing and embedding risk and control frameworks, risk appetite statements, and assurance practices. Strong Communication Skills:

Exceptional communication skills to convey complex risk-related information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels. Time Management & Prioritisation:

Strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Decision-Making:

Ability to make informed, timely decisions that keep risk initiatives on track and aligned with strategic goals. Coaching & Mentoring:

Experience in coaching and mentoring both technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote skills development and improve performance. Benefits:
