Job Details We have an exciting role for a Senior Risk Manager within the Customer Finance team. This commercially focused role is vital for managing the full risk process across Alliance Healthcare and our subsidiaries. For this role you will need a deep understanding of Risk Management, Credit Control, and pharmaceutical industry regulations. You will also need to have extensive knowledge of regulatory and reputational risk. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, risk management skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Effective communication, leadership, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential for success in this position. You will be responsible for continuously reviewing and enhancing processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. You will be involved in cross-functional projects to leverage expertise in Risk Management and Regulatory processes. You will play a key role in minimizing risk and optimizing cash flow by accurately assigning credit limits to customer accounts. You will engage in communications with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with Management, Senior Management, and Directors regularly. You will be creating an environment that delivers the required results while complying with statutory, group audit, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements, as well as ensuring proper coordination and effective handling of confidential information, involving implementing robust processes and controls.

We would value the following attributes: Relevant Management Experience:

Demonstrated experience in a management role showcasing the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively. This leadership experience is crucial for overseeing the Risk team.

Advanced Computer Literacy:

Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, Excel and Powerpoint is essential for managing financial data, analysing reports, and streamlining processes within the team.

Strong Analytical Skills:

Possessing strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving is important for evaluating risks, financial data, and regulatory requirements effectively.

In-depth Knowledge of Regulatory and Legal Requirements:

Comprehensive understanding of regulatory, statutory, and corporate legal requirements within the pharmaceutical industry is crucial for ensuring compliance and risk management within the organization.
