This is an exciting role where you will be expected to support the Safety Engineering activities across the FalconWorks cutting-edge products early in the engineering lifecycle, with the following: Hazard identification Undertaking and reviewing safety analysis and safety justifications Hazard log management & Product safety risk management Safety review of design installations (Zonal Analysis & Particular Risk Analysis) Capturing and verifying safety requirements Providing advice and guidance to project teams on product safety and product environmental issues Supporting Product Integrity Committees Supporting the management of emergent product safety issues A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience preferable in Safety Engineering. Experience of reviewing and assuring Safety Cases and Safety Arguments/Safety Justifications/Safety Case Reports. A proven track record in the application of hazard identification, analysis, and safety risk assessment techniques. A broad engineering experience with Aircraft design, test, trials and support, from design through to in-service use. Experience in leading others and working with autonomy. FalconWorks has been created to be a Powerhouse of innovation for the Air Sector. As a team we'll be focusing on early life-cycle development of game-changing technologies that shape the future. Key to this will be generating a new pipeline of products and services for the Air sector. The Safety Integration team are growing and are interfacing across a number of product and system teams, providing guidance, assurance & safety analysis.
