We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced senior sales engineer to join our team in Christchurch (we may consider applications in Auckland). In this role, you will be part of the sales team, taking ownership of Apex's entire product range. You proactively seek out opportunities, have excellent communication skills, are highly organised, and build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparation of proposals and assisting with reporting to the board and be familiar with CRM systems. This role suits someone who wants to take responsibility for a product range while being part of a wider sales and marketing team. About you:

Develop small project quoting and similar functions in MYOB Advanced to streamline processes. Assist Project Managers within the corporation of Apex products into their projects. Work with Project Managers to quote spare parts packages at the completion of all projects. Assist the National Business Development Manager. Prepare and issue quotations for Apex sales staff, ensuring they are completed on time, are priced accurately, and are error-free. Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with industry contacts, potential clients, suppliers, contractors, and consultants with the aim of securing future business. Maintain existing client relationships with the aim of securing repeat business. Identify new project opportunities and develop and implement effective strategies to secure and retain new business. Prepare quotations for new products and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and are error-free. Actively maintain Apex Water’s CRM database, ensuring the integrity of the data is high and information stored is accurate and up to date. We offer:
