About the Senior Sales Executive job The purpose of your role will be to manage key accounts and build strong relationships as well as driving new business and achieving sales targets. Key tasks Build and manage a personal customer base while developing strong relationships through regular visits across the UK. Generate new leads, identify new markets, and proactively follow through on customer enquiries. Accurately process customer orders and maintain up-to-date records in the in-house database. Thrive under pressure in a competitive market, delivering excellent service and results. About You The successful candidate shall possess proven experience in sales, account management, and business development as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. A sales background within the food industry is required, with knowledge of protein-based products such as meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetarian alternatives. Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets as well as a strong ability to build and maintain short and long-term customer relationships. Good understanding of sales techniques and market trends and be an excellent problem solver and have a results-driven mindset. More details The Senior Sales Executive job (ref:8826) is based near Dagenham, Essex. The role offers flexibility for some remote work and is paying £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience (plus commission) according to your experience. The package includes an annual bonus, company pension, company events, employee discounts, on-site parking, and some remote working. The working hours are Monday to Friday. As part of the Senior Sales Executive role, you will attend client visits regularly. Our client is seeking someone who is either local and can work onsite when not on site visits, or if further afield, partial work-from-home arrangements can be made.
