ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Sales Manager, Leisure is responsible for sourcing, developing and account managing business from the UK, European and Australian Leisure Market for Corinthia London with a focus on high value business especially Suite and Penthouse Sales. Also a focus to also to include special interest groups and VIP groups eg Multigenerational families and any specialist interest/VIP leisure groups. The above includes sourcing and account managing, preferred Partners/high end travel agencies, including Virtuoso and Traveller Made (excluding USA), high end Tour Operators eg A&K, Concierge companies eg Quintessentially and “on site” or DMCs specializing in FIT/individual leisure and or sports agencies also specialising in leisure. The Senior Sales Manager, Leisure must maximise yield in alignment with the strategic goals of the sales department and the objectives of Corinthia Hotel London. ABOUT YOU Ideally 4 years working in the Luxury Hotel Segment preferably in the UK with a strong commercial and cultural understanding of the UK Leisure Market, European and Australian Leisure Market. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality. Excellent level of written and spoken English. Empathy and care for your guests and colleagues. Ability to work under pressure and respond in an appropriate time to client requests. Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment. Pride and attention to detail in your work. Takes pride in own professional grooming. Professional and engaging personality. Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests. Ability to travel extensively in UK, Europe and Australia. Globally as required for Trade shows. European language speaker would be a benefit but not a requirement. Full clean driving license.
