Senior SAP Functional Analyst - SCM
to join our internal IT team. The Senior SAP Functional SME will play a pivotal role in partnering with business stakeholders to manage and enhance the SAP S/4HANA environment, with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role involves overseeing the SAP change and enhancement pipeline, providing quality assurance and oversight to the BAU support stream, and contributing to the functional roadmap. The SME will also act as a system gatekeeper for SAP-related changes, provide functional support and design, support SAP security design within their functional space, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and ideally have experience in the mining industry and Ariba Business Network. We are open to the location of this role; we have offices in Newcastle, Sydney, and Brisbane. Travel to regional offices and mine sites will be required. What You’ll Do Manage the SAP change and enhancement pipeline, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions. Contribute to the development of the SAP functional roadmap in collaboration with the SAP manager. Help upskill business users in SAP SCM functionalities and best practices. Assist in the design and implementation of SAP security measures within the functional space. Collaborate with respective stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into SAP SCM solutions. What You’ll Bring Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP functional roles, with at least 3-5 years in S/4HANA. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA SCM modules. Strong understanding of SAP change management and enhancement processes. Experience with SAP security design and implementation. Experience with Ariba Business Network.
