Are you an experienced and compassionate Scrub Nurse looking for your next career move in York? Leaders in Care is seeking a Senior Scrub Nurse for an Ophthalmic Clinic in York – working for one of the UK’s Leading Eye Care specialists, and the role offers a salary of up to £48,000 (negotiable dependent on experience). This is a permanent role with excellent work-life balance shifts of 4 days a week between Monday - Friday – 37.5 hours per week, with hours worked between 7am and 7pm. You will help to ensure that all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the hospital. To apply for this Senior Scrub Nurse position, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN) / ODP Practitioner with current NMC PIN or HCPC Registration. You will have experience working as a Senior and leading a theatre team. Additional Requirements include: Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team At least 5 years theatre experience post-registration within a hospital or clinic setting. Senior / team leading experience Passion for high-quality patient-centred care Quick thinking with the ability to solve problems under pressure Responsibilities: Provide senior scrub experience to the day-to-day running of the ophthalmic theatre to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient flow of the theatre pathway. You will provide excellent care to all patients, with specific responsibility for theatres and the patient flow through the department, in line with departmental policies, practice standards, regulation, and governance to provide high-quality, cost-effective care that puts the patient first at all times.
