As Senior Security Operations Analyst, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and executing a range of security services within the Cyber Fusion Centre focusing on Threat Intelligence. The wider team covers Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Event Monitoring, Security Device Configuration, Security Testing, Digital Forensics, Threat Hunting, and Threat Reporting. What you'll be doing: Coordinate with Local and Global Security Teams and drive remediation via various teams within ScottishPower. Create and embed new processes and services for the Threat Intelligence programme required by the UK Cyber Fusion Centre. Manage day-to-day Threat Intelligence activities, including monitoring and analysing threat data and alerts, identifying emerging trends, producing threat briefs, and assessing adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Provide support to the Cyber Fusion Centre by coordinating activity related to the definition, build, and support of Threat Intelligence tools and services. Work closely with IT and OT security functions to ensure the delivery of security services and distribution of Threat Intelligence products. What you'll bring: Significant experience coordinating Cyber Security Operations in a similar-sized organization, with preferred IT Security Operations experience in a Global organization. Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., GCTI, CPTIA, CRTIA, CySA+, CTIA, CIH) and experience in researching and assessing threats and adversary tradecraft. Experience managing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and an understanding of key legislation and regulation impacting IT Security. Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders. Highly developed problem-solving and delivery skills. Skills Summary: Understanding all aspects of Security Operations at a technical level. Experience as a Threat Intelligence analyst or in a similar position. Experience with Threat Intelligence platforms and tools. Knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities, and how to detect and mitigate them. Awareness of key legislation and regulation impacting IT/OT control requirements in an energy utility.
