Applications are invited from enthusiastic experienced Senior Chemotherapy Nurses to join our senior nurse establishment in a dedicated multi-disciplinary chemotherapy team and work in our purpose-built 20-chair Chemotherapy Day Unit at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. You will need to be chemotherapy competent and have considerable experience of caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy in a solid tumour and/or haematology setting. Above all, we are looking for experienced cancer nurses with passion and drive who are committed to maintaining and improving care for patients and their families who are undergoing chemotherapy/SACT. You will join a team of senior nurses to lead and develop the Chemotherapy Nursing team and demonstrate specialist expertise and professional knowledge. You will work and act as a role model for professional practice and leadership within chemotherapy and cancer nursing and will act as a clinical expert providing expert advice when required. To provide support and specialist advice to patients, families and carers who are undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatment.
