Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Civil Senior Site Engineer on behalf of a large main civil engineering contractor to work initially on a long-term project near Doncaster.
The project is one of many within their busy & ever-growing Yorkshire Water & Severn Trent Water workload. Currently working within AMP7 with projects running well into 2026 and in a good position to secure work even further ahead with AMP8.
Projects secured up to 30m values - incl. Water Treatment Works & asset upgrades.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
Health, safety and environmental monitoring by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Inspection Test Plans & Inspection Test Reports
Quality control
Site specific permits
Coordination of sub-contractors
Assist with Construction Phase Plans
Managing other Engineers including: Graduate/Site/Section Engineers
Checking of engineering work on site
Complex setting out as needed
Reporting to and working closely with Site Agent & Project Manager
Experience required:
Ideally must have experience working as Section Engineer / Sub-Agent / Senior Site Engineer on heavy civil engineering projects
Must have experience working as main contractor on projects 10m+
Must be highly experienced with use of relevant kit: Leica Total Station (or equivalent), GPS and AutoCAD.
Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree)
Must hold: CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and full driving license
Remuneration:
A salary of up to 56,000 (dependant upon experience) plus:
EV/Hybrid company vehicle or allowance, annual leave, 7% pension, fuel paid, healthcare, share scheme and other benefits.
