Senior Site Manager - Tier 1 Contractor - Birmingham A Top 10 contractor is searching for a Senior Site Manager to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major design and build projects ranging from £5m to £100m. Why Apply: With a turnover of £1.2bn, our client is one of the UK's leading construction groups, operating across the education, commercial, retail, defence, leisure, and high-rise accommodation sectors. They offer the opportunity to work on some of the region's most prestigious projects ranging from £5m - £100m. They are partners on several frameworks including Constructing West Midlands, MOJ, P22 / P23+, Department for Education, and the University of Birmingham, and have a pipeline of £3bn over the next 5 years with a full order book for 2025 / 2026. The initial project is a £23m four-storey building in Birmingham, which will house offices and laboratories. Requirements: - Experience delivering D&B projects as a Senior Site Manager - Hold a professional qualification HNC, ONC, or equivalent - Experience managing construction sub-contractors - Understanding of different contracts e.g. NEC, JCT - Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor - SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid / Fire Marshal Responsibilities & Duties: - Manage operations on site to ensure work is completed safely - Ensure works are being delivered to programme - Manage sub-contractors and specialist trades - Ensure site records are maintained Key Benefits: - Multi-award winning Top 10 Contractor - Excellent training and development - Genuine progression opportunities - Work from home / site / office The Package: - Great basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000 - Company car or allowance (£6,450) - Performance-related bonus (10%) - Excellent holiday allowance To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Senior Site Manager to deliver D&B projects of £10m+.
