Job Title: Senior Site Manager Location: Site Salary: Competitive Hours: 40 hour per week Minimum Requirements: A great understanding of high-end construction You'll join our Chichester Division, where we undertake projects valued between £1m and £15m. Specialising in Grade II Listed properties, refurbishments and contemporary new builds, each project requires meticulous management and attention to detail. All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: You'll plan and coordinate daily and weekly activities in excess of 4 weeks in advance, including resources and labour in line with project information and the construction programme. You'll produce a programme to support your plan based on the PSM's project programme using programming software to compile this and as a tool to show progress, record delays and variations. You'll plan for more numerous, complex tasks in an integrated manner that illustrates how they are interlinked and interdependent. You'll consult with subcontractors to gather their specialist input into the programme. You'll ensure that all planning and programming is shared with the relevant team members, including the Assistant Site Manager and/or Subcontractor Supervisors, and is monitored and reviewed. You'll contribute proactively to weekly team planning meetings and maintain excellent levels of communication with the client and their representatives. Where you'll be based: When you're not on site, you'll be based at our modern and spacious Chichester office, located in the village of East Ashling, just an 11-minute drive from the market town of Chichester. There is no public transport nearby due to the rural location, so driving is essential. You'll be wholly responsible for all activities on site related to the project requiring little guidance from the Contracts Manager and able to demonstrate initiative and self-reliance. You'll manage your time effectively to deal with the increased amount and complexity of project documentation and the need to manage subcontractor supervisors, inspect the quality of work, and attend professional meetings. You'll manage and maintain the site to a high standard and ensure that team members, including subcontractors, conduct themselves appropriately at all times.
