Currently seeking a Senior Site Manager to join a principal contractor who has been established for over a century. This contractor operates across the commercial, education, health care, MOD and residential sector, both refurbishment and new build schemes circa 20 million.
About the role
They are currently seeking a Senior Site Manager to join their team for an education scheme in Croydon. This project is in excess of 10 million and involves elements of cut & carve, new build and refurbishment. You will be a number two on site, reporting into a Contracts Manager and overseeing a Site Manager.
Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager
The ideal candidate will have worked on Education schemes before, preferably involving elements of refurbishment and/or cut & carve.
Experienced Senior Site Manager with the ability to drive a project forward with little supervision. Being a strong leader and leading by example to the site team and subcontractors.
Keeping the project on programme and within budget.
Health & Safety management.
Quality Assurance management.
Requirements for the Senior Site Manager
A motivated and driven individual who is looking to make an impact on a project.
Proven experience of working on similar projects within a similar sector.
Steel frame and refurbishment experience.
SMSTS certification.
CSCS certification.
