Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, typically comprising of 8 hours Monday-Thursday, 5 hours Friday Working Week: Mon-Thurs = 8 hours paid (8.5 hours on site), flexible start/finish (as early as 7am start, 4pm finish, or as late as 9am start, 6pm finish). Friday = 5 hours paid (early start as 7am) All employees now have the option to move to a compressed 4 day working week (typically 37 hours Monday-Thursday) Employees have the option to request flexible working (subject to company policy) Location:

Blandford Forum, Dorset, Site based. Job Summary: We are seeking experienced software engineers with strong LabVIEW and TestStand skills; proficiency in C/C++/C# would be advantageous. The role involves conceptual design and flow-down of work packages and successful software development, providing technical support & training to less senior software engineers. Responsibilities: Developing software for a variety of new test equipment solutions, including drivers, software modules, and test sequences. Core functions include: Instrumentation Data Acquisition Signal conditioning and processing techniques Graphical User Interfaces Design, write, and document code that is maintainable, extensible, reliable, and efficient. Participate in design reviews including preliminary and critical design reviews. Undertake integration and validation. Commissioning. Documentation. Requirements: Demonstrable experience of software design in the Test & Measurement industry. Experience of the software design process from development of brief through to final validation. LabVIEW & TestStand experience (CLD minimum desirable). Experience with PXI (NI, Pickering, Keysight), Compact RIO, PC, FPGA. Some electronic hardware design experience preferred. Formal qualification in engineering design (degree or equivalent). Benefits: 24 days holiday plus bank holidays. Holiday can be taken in hours rather than full or half days if the employee prefers.
