Are you a skilled software engineer with a passion for innovation? We are seeking an experienced professional to join a dynamic engineering team delivering bespoke test systems and solutions for industries such as Aerospace and Defence.

About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing software for cutting-edge test equipment solutions. You'll work on diverse projects involving instrumentation, data acquisition, signal processing, and graphical user interfaces. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and mentor junior team members in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop software drivers, modules, and test sequences using LabVIEW and TestStand. Design, document, and maintain reliable, efficient, and extensible code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet project requirements. Provide technical support and training to less senior engineers. Participate in design reviews, integration, validation, and commissioning activities. Liaise with customers to meet their software, testing, and interface requirements. Support acceptance testing, both factory and on-site.

Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to solutions. Methodical and organized in producing software and documentation. Excellent communication and time management skills. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player.

Experience Required:

Demonstrable experience in software design for the Test & Measurement industry. Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand (CLD certification is desirable). Familiarity with platforms like PXI (NI, Pickering, Keysight), Compact RIO, PC, and FPGA. Experience in electronic hardware design is advantageous.

Qualifications:

A degree (or equivalent) in engineering design or a related discipline. Eligibility to meet formal Security Check (SC) criteria.
