Senior Software Engineer Te Tūranga - The Role Are you a strong team player who has a good grasp of software architecture and design, a knack for solving problems and a passion for delivering quality products? If so, apply to join Tait's engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role you will join a small software team working on a critical component that shapes how our customers configure, calibrate and update components in our portable and mobile LMR terminals. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a Senior role where you can train and mentor others in engineering design methodologies and contribute to the ongoing development of a high performing team. In this role you will: Get to experience the full software lifecycle on some of our key projects. Provide technical leadership to a small team of developers. Work in a cross-functional, agile, development team. Be immersed in a complex and challenging role. Ō pūkenga - About You To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or other relevant field) as well as at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. As well as: Experience in C# and .NET and MAUI or other C# based UI frameworks. Have at least 5 years experience developing PC-based Windows applications. Have a strong grasp of software architecture and experience defining it. Have experience with LMR radio products and their configuration options. User experience (UX) design would be a bonus.
