Ford Pro is looking for Software Engineers that embrace Agile-eXtreme Programming principles to deliver innovative software products for Ford Motor Company and our commercial customers.
You'll have... Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 3+ years of experience in front-end and/or back-end development. 3+ years of experience with Object-oriented development languages, such as but not limited to: Java JavaScript TypeScript Kotlin Python C# Modern databases (Relational and non-relational) 1+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure Experience in developing web-based UI using JavaScript, Angular or Vue and/or Typescript or experience developing back-end APIs using Java, Kotlin, Python etc. Familiarity with debugging problems using appropriate tools. Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, Terraform. Experience with unit testing tools such as JUnit, Jest etc. Even better, you may have... Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles Familiarity with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTFUL Web services development Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling and data analysis is a plus Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally), backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools. Previous experience working as a react.js or Java developer. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages. In-depth knowledge of Java, Python, C#, Kotlin back-end API development. Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux. Experience with user interface design. Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha, JMeter and Jest. Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment.
