About the Reputation Team
The mission of the Reputation Team is to continue to delight our customers in the Reputation space, such as PR execs and Chief Communications Officers. We provide them the tools they need to navigate the huge volume of world media we ingest every day. To help them make sense of that data, and extract both useful insights and breaking news stories that affect them or their clients. We do that by leveraging our AI technology which labels incoming news and social media stories in close to real time.
What You'll Be Doing
This team requires somebody with a product mindset, who is as comfortable solving complex issues on the front-end, as they are at delving into the intricacies of the back-end.
Some examples that would make you successful in this role include:
Building intuitive user interfaces and data visualisations to unlock valuable insights for our customers.
Building services that can cope with large volumes of data.
Implementing and maintaining the AWS infrastructure to support the services owned by your team.
Working with varied technologies, such as Clojure, Javascript, Typescript, React, GraphQL, NodeJS, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, AWS (S3, Kinesis, SQS, ...), Terraform, and more.
Collaborating with the definition of the products that will be built and delivered, from both a design and product perspective.
Communicating with other teams and stakeholders when needed.
Working in a collaborative environment. Expect to be pair programming a high percentage of your time.
