We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our team in Poole, Dorset. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of our software solutions. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact on people's daily lives. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a technical leader within the QA team, providing guidance and mentoring to junior members - Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications - Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and user stories - Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications - Identify, log and track defects using issue tracking tools - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and testability of code - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium - Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall product quality - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software QA and testing Ideal requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing Experience using Automation tools e.g. Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium, Postman or equivalent Experience in writing Automation tests e.g. Gherkin or Python Experience in designing test scripts Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodologies, including both manual and automated testing Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes Technical Team leadership experience Experience of development/application of automated tests (TDD or BDD) Source control tools and platforms such as git and Bitbucket Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Experience with performance and load testing is a plus ISTQB or similar certification is a plus We offer you: Annual leave 25 days plus bank holidays Eyesight test via Specsavers and a contribution towards glasses Employee assistance programme Flu vaccinations yearly WeCare - 24/7 GP, mental health support and finess programmes Life assurance (4x salary) Working at Flowbird offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
