Senior Software Test Engineer - Fully Remote UK & Ireland

The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team keeping close relationships with the product and development teams as well as external stakeholders where applicable. You’ll be joining a business whereby testing and quality is highly valued, where red tape is at a minimum and you can focus on solving problems quickly.
The Role
Design innovative testing strategies from a user perspective, addressing both functional and nonfunctional requirements. Develop test plans and cases within a Lean/Agile framework, incorporating risk assessments, methodologies, and assumptions. Execute various testing methods (ad hoc, exploratory, regression, integration, and user acceptance) to validate product functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross functional teams (Test Engineers, Product Management, DevOps) to define project scope and promote continuous quality improvement. Balance manual and automated testing, leveraging automation frameworks and contributing to the evolution of testing practices. Uphold a high standard of quality, ensuring thorough testing to minimise defects and deliver reliable solutions. What would make you a good fit?
Experience in both manual testing and automated testing. Commercial knowledge of BDD and TDD frameworks. Great knowledge of testing web services, across both the UI and APIs. Adept at working in an agile environment with excellent communication skills. The Package
