Senior Software Testing Engineer , Camberely, £60k - £65k
Hexwired Recruitment have partnered with a growing digital communication technology company. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Software Testing Engineer to implement testing, develop automated tests and integrate these into CI/CD pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Python, C, and C++, along with a solid understanding of Linux OS and software quality practices.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Tools: Choose, configure, and execute tools for static code analysis and code coverage to uphold high software quality standards. Test Development: Develop, maintain, and run unit tests for software to ensure reliable and robust functionality. Automation: Design and implement automation frameworks using Python, integrating them into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with tools such as GitLab and Jenkins to ensure ongoing testing within the software development lifecycle. Linux Expertise: Utilise Linux OS for testing, debugging, and ensuring compatibility within a Linux-based environment. Required Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in Python for automation. At least intermediate-level expertise in C and C++. Experience working in a Linux OS environment. Proven track record in designing and executing automated testing processes. Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles and best practices.
