An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE to join the firm’s busy team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload including RTA, EL and PL cases, ensuring the best possible recovery is made in relation to the heads of claim and that the appropriate policies and procedures are followed. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver a level of client care in accordance with service level agreements Follow company policies, procedures and processes Maximise income per case through recovery of damages to include hire, repairs, recovery and storage Prepare and conduct the case thoroughly ensuring the ingathering of all requisite evidence Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used Mentor and supervise junior members of the team Ensure you uphold the core values of Winn Group Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it. Must be admitted in Scotland and be circa 2 to 4 years PQE Understanding of credit hire would be desirable Court litigation experience including an understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court Procedures Conduct hearings in the Sheriff Courts Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives Commercially aware Experience in demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment Cooperative and flexible approach Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution-focused approach Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills IT literate Commitment to own personal development Apply Now
