Role Description
As a Solution Architect for Finance and Bank Management, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions on projects with our largest clients. Your work will directly impact the design and implementation of software that addresses critical business challenges and meets customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Shape and deliver software solutions on projects with our largest clients. Design and plan large-scale finance and bank management transformations tailored to the customer’s business priorities and requirements. Design and support the implementation of technical solutions that meet customer needs, solve business problems, and fulfill their requirements. Compile functional and non-functional requirement specifications (e.g., Software Requirements Specifications, User Stories) with customers. Design and compile solution designs, functional business specifications, and solution architectures for software products and platform architectures. Take responsibility by innovating and expanding the functionality of existing software components or designing entirely new standard software. Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the architecture aligns with business needs and technical constraints. Utilize the latest SAP and SAP Fioneer technologies and frameworks to design and build solutions. Education:
Diploma or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related STEM field. Core Competencies (Must Have):
5+ years of
IT experience in Banking IT , having worked for a bank, consultancy, or software vendor in this space. Proven track record with at least two significant project accomplishments. Involvement in at least one mid-sized or larger
IT transformation
project. Advanced knowledge of
banking architectures and IT systems . Deep functional expertise in at least one bank management domain, i.e., finance, controlling, regulatory, risk, reporting & disclosure. Basic understanding of SAP architectures. Preferred Skills:
SAP certification or experience with accounting systems (e.g., S/4HANA Finance) or SAP Fioneer products (e.g., FPSL, FSDM). Certification or experience with non-SAP
accounting architectures
or software (e.g., Oracle General Ledger, PeopleSoft General Ledger). Certification or experience with
enterprise architecture frameworks
(e.g., TOGAF, FEAF). Experience or certification in
business process modeling
for banks (e.g., BPMN). Knowledge of
data architectures
and design principles. Experience or certification in accounting for IFRS or US GAAP.
