Senior Sous/Head Pastry Chef

where you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional, high-end desserts for matchday and non-matchday events alike. This position demands a highly motivated and creative individual with a genuine passion for patisserie and culinary excellence. You will take full control of the pastry department, ensuring that our safety, quality, and aesthetic standards are consistently met, all while supervising and inspiring a talented team of chefs. We’re looking for someone with great organisational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. What you’ll do: Responsible for the production of high-end restaurant quality desserts for all match day hospitality areas, non-match day events and associated food areas within the venue as and when required. Assuming full control of the pastry department, ensuring that safety, quality, quantity and appearance standards are met at all times. Responsible for the supervision and direction of all chefs working in the pastry section. Person Specification: Highly motivated and creative. Have a real passion for patisserie and cooking. Strong team player. Great organisational and communication skills. Strong command of the English language. Demonstrate the ability to stay in control during peak trading. Hard working and reliable. An enthusiastic individual with a passion for food and excellent service delivery. City and Guilds 706/1,2 or NVQ level 2 or equivalent. Basic Food Hygiene level 2. Passion, is positive and proud of doing a great job. Responsibility, takes ownership and doesn’t leave things to others. Teamwork, shares knowledge and experience with other team members. IT literate. Experience within a similar role. City and Guilds 706/3 or NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Specialist pastry qualification is advantageous. Knowledge and experience of supervising or managing people.
