The Rowans Hospice Charity is an independent organisation offering specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting disease, located in Waterlooville, Hampshire. As a Charity, we offer opportunities for palliative support to patients and their families over an extensive range of in-patient and out-patient services; we pride ourselves on our excellent care for patients, their families, our staff and volunteers. The Hospice is proud to have been rated as outstanding in the latest CQC inspection. We currently have an opportunity available for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team at Rowans Hospice Charity. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who will be responsible for a high-level delivery and implementation of programmes of care for our patients in association with the whole ward team. The post holder will also be required, where necessary, to supervise other qualified and unqualified staff within the primary nursing team. We are seeking an experienced RGN registered nurse, who can demonstrate leadership skills and use of a palliative care approach to patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with sound management and decision-making experience are key to this role. The Rowans Hospice Charity offers a competitive salary, and in addition, you will receive enhancements for working weekend, evening and bank holiday shifts.
