- Neonatal - Guernsey (UK) - Full-time - £40 Hourly - 6 Months

Embark on a rewarding adventure as a Senior Staff Nurse in the Neonatal Unit, located in beautiful Guernsey, UK. This full-time locum position, with a competitive hourly rate of £40, offers a six-month opportunity to expand your career in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. Experience the unique charm of island living while making a meaningful impact in the lives of neonates and their families.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will confidently provide specialised neonatal care without supervision, attending deliveries and initiating resuscitation, as well as assisting the medical team in critical situations. You’ll possess the expertise to tend to the sickest of neonates, sometimes operating as a lone expert, and you’ll play a crucial role in supporting junior staff and comforting parents. After comprehensive training, you will be prepared to conduct air transfers and maintain your skills through off-island placements.

What you will do: Deliver specialist care to neonates and engage in neonatal service development. Mentor and supervise staff and students in the Neonatal Unit. Lead neonatal resuscitation and stabilisation procedures. Communicate and advocate effectively for children and their families. Coordinate and guide a team through emergency situations, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Oversee the recruitment and retention of team members and manage their professional development. Collaborate in policy development, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Perks and benefits: With competitive landscapes comes a supportive community where your professional growth is nurtured. Our workplace fosters continual learning and development. You'll thrive in a team that values innovation and cooperation. Enjoy the benefits of locum work such as flexibility, wide-ranging experience, and the chance to explore new locations. You can also look forward to a supportive network and the opportunity to broaden your professional horizons. Working with Sanctuary Personnel: Sanctuary Personnel is a trusted and award-winning agency for roles. With an ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot from over 1,000 reviews and many prestigious industry awards, we are dedicated to finding you the best possible rates in roles that match your skills and experience.
