Senior Staff Nurse - Outpatients Cheshire; The Wilmslow Hospital, 52-54 Alderley Rd Full time, 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Mon-Sat (early shift 7:30am-3:30pm or late shift 12:30pm-8:30pm) Permanent Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience We are currently recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team at The Wilmslow Hospital. At the Wilmslow Hospital, we diagnose and treat a range of conditions using some of the most advanced technology in the region, from our 3T MRI scanner to our state-of-the-art laminar flow operating theatres. The hospital is made up of 13 consultant rooms; a full diagnostic imaging suite; 2 operating theatres and a dedicated women's health unit. The Outpatients Department services a wide range of specialities, within which the post holder will develop skills. Duties & Responsibilities

Work alongside Head of Department Carry emergency bleep to support the crash team Complete audits and action plans, attend audit accountability meeting in the absence of HOD Monitor Patient Satisfaction results and action plans Support with Management of rotas and daily outpatient budget Coordinate shift and plan nurse cover against daily allocation of clinics Greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff in a professional and welcoming manner Oversee stock control and careful use of equipment Ensure patient comfort, dignity and privacy are maintained at all times and are specific to the patients' needs Chaperoning patients and required equipment as necessary for appointments and clinic Ensure strict confidentiality is applied to all clients and staff, ensuring need to know basis is always applied Communicate care to patients, their family and/or carers using appropriate language and rationale Under direction develop skills in the instruction, advice and care of patients throughout their treatment process Carry out with accuracy other duties as instructed by your line manager Report any concerns to Head of Department or Matron Decontamination of instruments and clinical equipment What you'll bring:
