The role:
Required to undertake surveys of council homes & other assets and assessing them against the decent home standard and housing health and safety rating system.
To undertake audits and spot checks as required on the stock condition surveys undertaken & data received by consultants,to ensure consistency of assessments.
Based on findings from surveys, make recommendations on the structural soundness of housing stock and its key building components.
Key Skills and experience:
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have a car available for use during work hours
Ability to assess properties against the decent home standard and HHSRS.
A proven track record of carrying out detailed property surveys and producing reports on remedial works and to draw up costed schedules of works.
