senior strategy manager

to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment the role | the strategy and insights team at wagamama is essential for driving business growth by analysing market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes. we are also guardians of the voice of our guest, ensuring we are in touch with their views and behaviours in relation to our brand. as a key support to cross-function teams, we help shape long-term strategies, monitor performance, gather customer insights, and drive forward innovation to enhance operations and dining experiences. additionally, we track brand and market performance, provide competitive intelligence, and collaborate with other departments to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution. our team helps wagamama stay competitive, meet customer expectations, and achieve long-term success. we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior strategy manager to join our dynamic team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, market analysis, and performance measurement to support the growth and success of wagamama. key accountabilities annual strategy planning:

assist the director with the development and execution of the annual strategic plan, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives. strategic projects and ad hoc initiatives:

lead the insight support needed for key business initiatives from the overall business plan – these will be assigned over the business planning cycle. provide support on various strategic initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. market forecasts, measurement, and trends:

analyse market trends and forecasts to identify opportunities and threats. menu:

be a key voice in the overall strategic direction of the menu. help formulate the briefs for new menu items, test their performance, and provide actionable insights to enhance our offering. pricing and value:

working closely with finance, help develop pricing strategies that maximise value for customers while ensuring profitability. deliveroo support:

collaborate with the internal and external deliveroo team and provide the insight and analysis needed to deliver the joint business plan. key finance business partner:

work closely with the finance team across tasks such as market growth / forecast / trends, support budgeting and menu planning. market measures:
