Job summary Are you a skilled Stress Analysis Engineer with a passion for aerospace? Looking to join a dynamic team in a leading international high-technology group operating in the aviation, defence, and space sectors? Key skills required for this role: Stress Engineer, classical static stress and fatigue analysis, ABAQUS Our client's core purpose is to contribute to a safer, more sustainable world, with a focus on making air transport environmentally friendly, comfortable, and accessible. Key Responsibilities include: Proficient use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as ABAQUS Conduct classical static stress and fatigue analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing Participate in audit reviews and present information as required Contribute to product validation efforts Engage with external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and industrial organizations Identify analysis solutions, recommend improvements, and propose alternative methods Review drawings, designs, concessions, and repairs Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers and suppliers Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements Requirements: Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline Good working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes; landing gear experience is advantageous Understanding of different engineering functions Proficiency in static and fatigue structural analysis methods Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiarity with aerospace materials engineering properties Experience working to regulatory requirements Experience working in an IPT (Integrated Product Team) environment Occasional travel may be required Organized and able to work to strict deadlines Advantageous Skills: Working experience within various engineering functions Experience with recognized FEA and fatigue software tools Educational Skills and Experience: Minimum of HNC/HND level, ideally BSc/MSc, in an engineering discipline or equivalent Matchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years’ experience
