Are you ready to step into a role where you can shape the future of renewable energy? Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to head their design and technical team. This leadership role is central to designing, analysing, and implementing state-of-the-art ground-mounted solar products. As a driving force within the company, you will inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring projects not only meet but exceed technical and industry standards. Your work will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions and driving the company's ambitious growth in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Design and analyse structural systems for ground-mounted solar arrays, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct site assessments to evaluate soil conditions, topography, and other factors influencing structural design. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction professionals to deliver comprehensive solar installation plans. Produce precise engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for structural components and foundations. Utilise cutting-edge structural analysis software to assess load capacities, stress levels, and overall performance. Provide expert technical guidance to installation teams, resolving structural challenges during the construction phase. Oversee quality assurance inspections to guarantee adherence to design specifications and industry standards. Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering and solar energy. About You

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in structural engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within the renewable energy sector (solar experience is highly preferred). Technical Skills:

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Dlubal RFEM 6, RWIND, Tekla Tedds, and design tools like AutoCAD. Knowledge:

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to structural design and construction. Soft Skills:

Exceptional communicator, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work Style:
