Aberdeen Description To prepare and deliver a range of engineering documents, drawings and specifications compliant with all applicable standards in conjunction with the engineering team. Accountability, Roles and Responsibilities The post holder will report to their Engineering Director/Manager for the execution of technical work, supported by the Human Resources Manager for all non-technical aspects of working at Apollo. Performing their day to day duties to the best of their ability and in compliance with Apollo's HSEQ processes and procedures. The post holder will integrate fully with the Engineering team to enable effective project delivery and ensure client satisfaction. Any other delegated content as instructed by under the direction of line manager. Duties Development and maintenance of an internal drawings standards procedure fully compliant with existing Apollo internal quality management procedures and industry applicable standards. Development and supervision of an in-house design capability. Providing mentorship and continuing professional development support to less experienced members of staff. Support business development effort by engaging with existing and potential clients to generate leads and enquiries under direction of line management. Delivery of drawings and specifications in a fast paced and dynamic environment with short turnaround timeframes. Execution of all duties in compliance with applicable legislation, codes, standards and Apollo's internal quality control and administration procedures. Reporting to and meeting with clients and all interested parties as required. Preparation of drawings specifying dimensions, materials and procedures from rough sketches and specifications as required. Preparation of drawings, data and specification sheets required for fabrication. Revision and amendment of drawings, layouts and specifications as required to include any changes or enhancements. Work will normally be performed at Apollo's offices but the post holder may be required to work in client offices and/or offshore installations under suitable guidance. Any other reasonable duties as required. Qualifications Extensive previous experience in the use of computer aided engineering design and analysis tools including AutoCAD, PDMS to produce engineering drawings, designs and specifications. Proven communication skills (both written and verbal).
