Petrofac is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer -
Contractor for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK. The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage. Scope of Services
: • Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector. • Provide technical input to estimates for project work scopes • Provide input to progress and planning meetings • Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process • Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets • Produce structural calculations and analysis • Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS • Provide checking and approval of discipline documents; complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary. • Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues • Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs • Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards • Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate Deliverables: • Survey reports • Structural design calculations • Structural design and analysis reports • Input to project execution plans • Input to project basis of design documents • Input to concept study / FEED reports • Requisition (including SDRL) • Construction workpack input • Weight control reports • Presentations sketches etc. to assist in scope communications Design Deliverables to Check: • Structural general arrangement drawings • Structural detail drawings • Structural destruct drawings • Installation methodology drawings / documents • Rigging drawings • Survey reports • Structural design calculations • Structural design and analysis reports • Requisition (including SDRL) • Construction workpacks • Weight control reports #LI-JN1
