Position: Senior Structural Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer has arisen to join a growing, multidisciplinary consultancy in their Essex office. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design, analysis, and delivery of cutting-edge structural projects. You will lead teams, provide technical expertise, and collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for building projects, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures Develop detailed design drawings and calculations, ensuring safety, feasibility, and efficiency Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality results Conduct site visits to assess the structural progress and ensure adherence to design specifications Requirements BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering Minimum of 6 years design experience Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes Experience working with all major materials including concrete, steel, masonry and timber Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In addition to a competitive salary, the successful senior structural engineer will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes a pension scheme, hybrid working, both a performance and profit share bonus scheme and company-sponsored social events.
