Senior Structural Engineer

£45k-£50k plus benefits Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Structural Engineer with over 5 years of post-graduate experience to support their busy Hull office. Have you got experience in a similar practice? Are you working towards Chartered status? Are you seeking a firm that will offer excellent support to help you achieve this goal? As a Senior Structural Engineer, you can expect to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong commercial awareness. You will also be responsible for supervising junior staff. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will be representing the client at site progress meetings and conducting construction/design compliance checks. A full UK driving license and access to your own car are required for this position. The projects you will be involved in include new-build and refurbishment work across private and public sector residential, commercial, educational, and industrial buildings, as well as renewable energy and water industry projects. Key Responsibilities and Skills include: Design to the Eurocodes in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit / BIM Conducting site-based structural surveys and inspections, including confined space work (training provided) Assessing existing structures You can expect a competitive salary, commensurate with your experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
