I am actively seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Hull. You will assist in managing one of their busiest teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, education, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

Your duties as a Senior Structural Engineer will include:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment, with a focus on sound commercial awareness. Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering their development. Represent the company in site progress meetings and perform construction/design compliance checks. Engage in new-build and refurbishment projects across private and public sector residential, commercial, educational, and industrial buildings, including renewable energy and water industry projects.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Structural Engineering role will have: Previous experience in a similar consultancy environment. A minimum of 3-4 years industry experience. Progress towards Chartered Engineer status (with support provided to achieve this). Proficiency in Eurocode design for structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber. Skills in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM. The ability to conduct structural surveys and inspections, including confined space work (training provided). Strong communication and teamworking skills. A full UK driving license and access to your own car.
