Senior Structural Engineer Cardiff Ref: S0 61 Salary: Up to £50,000 My client, a successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Structural Engineer involve: * Lead structural engineering projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring successful project delivery. * Manage resources and liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. * Oversee the design, analysis, and reporting of structural projects using software such as Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), Tedds, AutoCAD, and REVIT (BIM). * Maintain a strong understanding of CDM regulations, technical standards, and best practices in structural engineering. * Act as a company representative at project meetings and maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders. * Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow and develop their skills within the team. * Ensure effective time management and meet multiple project deadlines. Required Skills & Qualifications for this Senior Structural Engineer include: * A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience * A relevant Engineering Degree (MEng, BEng Hons, or BSc), * Chartered status with IStructE or ICE (or working towards). * Proficiency in using MS Office and structural analysis software, such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and experience with BIM (REVIT). * Strong experience in managing resources and project delivery, with a comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations and technical standards. * Excellent report writing, data interpretation, and communication skills. * Strong leadership and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects.
