Senior Structural Engineer Location: Leicester/Derby/Warwick Ref: M301 Salary: £45-£55K (depending on experience) + benefits My client is a well-established civil and structural engineering firm with offices across the Midlands. They are actively seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their design team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across the commercial (high rise), residential, industrial, health, hospitality, and leisure sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments, collaborating with architects, building services engineers, and other professionals within the construction industry. Key Duties for this Senior Structural Engineer role include: Assist in leading the structural design of projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Liaison with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve project objectives and deadlines. Making site inspections and assessments to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Inspecting existing structures and preparing technical reports. Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (ICE and/or IStructE) OR working towards. A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and team management. Proficiency in structural analysis software. Experience using CAD (with Revit being beneficial). Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
