Our client is an established and successful multi-discipline engineering firm in Leeds whose project workload is expanding.
As a result, they are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Structural Engineer who will assist with their development and further team expansion plans.
As their workload is mainly in the North of England, candidates will need good local knowledge and connections. There may be occasional travel to sites outside of the area and a valid UK driving licence is therefore a requirement.
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will have gained MIStructE Chartered status at least 5 years ago and will have strong design experience in the following sectors: commercial, retail, health, leisure and industrial.
With both new build and refurbishment project experience, you will have designed in all traditional materials and possess sound knowledge of construction methods, health & safety legislation and legal regulation.
Working knowledge of EuroCodes and Finite Element Analysis package is vital.
Requirements of a Senior Structural Engineer:
Able to run projects and manage team Work on a number of projects at any given time, delegating where necessary Strong business acumen, including financial aspects of schemes Site and client meeting experience Strong client relationship builder
