Together, we can shape a better world through responsible construction" The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in structural consultancy, who is passionate about creative design and structural analysis, interested in complex design and has the desire to face structural challenges. Strong digital engineering and modelling skills are essential. The successful candidate will play an important role in the Wintech team, with responsibility for team technical design and delivery of schemes from inception through to handover of the completed projects. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents. Able to deliver design concepts as well as producing 3D analyses and structural calculations. Ability to supervise team and undertake design quality checks. Ability to create structural intuitive solutions of sustainable low carbon emissions. Collaborating with professionals such as Architects, Engineers and clients. Experience of visiting sites, making observations and providing inspection reports. Qualifications and Experience Working towards IStructE or ICE recognition. Experience in structural engineering design in all materials. Experience of RC frame medium or high-rise structure is advantageous. Knowledge of industry standard software, such as Tedds/Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, RAM Structural System, Master Series, AutoCAD, Revit. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in working with stakeholders. Working knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation. Continuing professional development to keep up to date with new technologies, materials and methods of construction.
