As a Senior Structural Engineer, you are required to lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and client requirements. Key responsibilities of a Senior Structural Engineer:

Conduct structural analyses and calculations to design safe and efficient structures. Oversee the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Actively engage in site inspections, assessments, and structural surveys. Participate in project meetings and liaise with stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed:

To be successful in this role, our client is looking for candidates with: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartered status. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering. Proficient in structural design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot, Masterseries Retaining Wall Suite, etc.). Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards). Excellent project management and leadership skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. What you'll get in return
