Senior Structural Engineer focuses on leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.

What the role involves

• Leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Preparing structural calculations, reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Managing project workloads, budgets, and delivery programmes.
• Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and other consultants.
• Support junior engineers and technicians within the team.
• Attend site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required.

Skills and requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership (MIStructE or MICE preferred).
• Significant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK design standards and building regulations.
