£39.51 - £52.13 Per hour (Umbrella) inside IR35 Job Duties:
Designing and analysing complex structural systems for specialist structures. Developing detailed structural drawings and specifications. Collaborating with architects and other engineers to ensure structural integrity and safety. Conducting site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations. Managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional body. Demonstrated experience in the design and analysis of specialist structures. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on specialist structures. Knowledge and Skills:
Strong proficiency in structural design software and analysis tools. Excellent understanding of relevant building codes and regulations. Effective communication and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Experience working on international projects involving complex structures. Working Conditions:
This role involves a combination of office-based work and site visits. Travel within the UK and occasionally internationally may be required. The role may also involve working on construction sites, requiring adherence to health and safety regulations.
