Job Summary: They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience and demonstrated progress toward chartership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with specific expertise in temporary works design. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the design and analysis of structural and temporary works projects, preparing detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications. They will oversee and review the work of junior engineers and technical staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and clients. The role involves conducting site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance, participating in project planning, budgeting, and resource management, and staying updated on relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering. Progress toward chartership with ICE, IStructE, or equivalent professional body. Proven experience in temporary works design and construction methodologies. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and STAAD Pro. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Engineer status or close to achieving chartership. Experience in leading design teams on complex engineering projects. Familiarity with relevant Eurocodes, British Standards, and industry guidelines.
