Are you a senior level Civil and/or Structural Engineer looking for a permanent role and the opportunity to join a well-established Design House consisting of Chartered Surveyors, Architects, and Civil Engineers at a period of expansive growth and success?
A background in structural engineering is the requirement, and the Client is open to previous industry knowledge that is transferable to the built environment. In this role, you will be working primarily on Government and MOD buildings/projects, and you WILL be required to hold Security Clearance (not necessary to start).
Offices in Portsmouth and also in Monmouth; you will be working within the Engineering team providing professional solutions to construction problems. Working at a Senior/Head of level, you will have responsibility for driving the division forward and mentoring a talented pool of engineers. Location should not be a restriction as you can be based out of either office, and flexible/hybrid working options will be available should they be required.
There is a wide range in terms of salary, which will very much depend on the level of experience. Ideally, you will already be Chartered (ICE or StructE) or working towards Chartership.

Role & Responsibilities:
Develop scheme designs as required by the Directors, Principal, and Senior engineers, using appropriate software. Assist in the delivery of projects within timescale, budget constraints, and quality expectations. Work with CAD Technicians to produce relevant structural information. Undertake structural engineering analysis and design under the supervision of senior engineers. Attendance at project and design meetings and site visits. Undertake condition surveys and write reports. Keep all project-related documentation in compliance with the Business Management systems, processes, and procedures. Communicate project's critical issues in a timely manner to Directors and clients. Mentor graduates and technicians. Actively engage in CPD to maintain and facilitate personal and career development.
Candidates will ideally be Chartered with an accredited BEng Degree (or equivalent).
