Senior Sub Contract Buyer Luton 12-month Contract - Hybrid £49.00 per hour Umbrella ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sub Contract Buyer to join our global Engineering and Manufacturing client. The Role: Lead the delivery of sub-contract management activities and other procurement related services which may be required by the business. Identifying and sourcing appropriate supply chains for the delivery of outsourced intangible services. Lead the generation and review of 'appropriate' specifications and Statement of Work documents. Promote a culture of best practice and sharing of knowledge within the function and across the wider business. Construct and lead the contracts and supply chain management Life Cycle Management deliverables. Management of Export Compliance, restrictions and third party rights for all procured items and services. Requirements: A good working knowledge and understanding of Procurement within the Defence/Aerospace industry. Build relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliers. A good understanding of the Commercial and Legal Aspects associated with contracting within the Defence/Aerospace industry. A good understanding of Export Compliance associated with contracting within the Defence/Aerospace industry. Good knowledge of SAP. Ability to engage and influence cross-functional/cross site teams.
