This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors, though this particular project will be focusing on an offshore Oil & Gas project.

The role will require 2 days p/w in the client's London office.

The role is deemed to be outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities

Design of subsea controls equipment and umbilicals and architecture for concept and FEED studies. Performing subsea control system studies for system expansion, life extension, fault finding and fault rectification. Delivery of Subsea Controls Systems in accordance with project requirements, Client Design and Engineering Practices, Industry Standards & Guidelines (International, National and Company) and UK Regulations. Contribution to the selection and options process for the initial field layout and architecture. Package management for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment. Operations support and system integrity management. Support to interface engineering, subsea system engineering & management. Key Skills & Knowledge

Experience in the delivery, installation, and commissioning of subsea control systems. Degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline. Strong experience in subsea controls design. Good knowledge of subsea controls equipment, umbilicals, interfaces and key codes and standards. Good knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. Proven background working on projects in the Oil & Gas industry (preferably studies and FEED), including option reviews etc. Chartered status is an advantage but not essential. Additional Info

Initially a c.6 month contract but with the potential to extend, the role is outside IR35. The role is hybrid and will be based in London 2 days p/w and remote 2 days p/w.
