Senior Supply Chain Manager

Senior Supply Chain Manager focuses on leading the supply chain teams/departments, ensuring regular communication to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.

What the role involves

• Leading the Supply Chain teams/departments, ensuring regular communication to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
• Direct management responsibility for Supply Chain teams within Fleetlands Engines, Portsmouth programmes (GE, M250, APU), International Shipping, and Central Procurement.
• Support for UK Supply Chain, located across all five UK sites. Provide support as necessary for other Europe facilities.
• Provide advice and guidance on security, import/export regulations, logistics, space utilization, transport costs etc.
• Plan for and execute cycle counting on all stock holdings.
• Managing inventory levels in line with business requirements and within set AOP budgets.

Skills and requirements

• Good understanding of certification requirements, especially with regards to EASA, CAA, FAA, and Military requirements.
• Proven contract negotiation skills.
