Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in the Brecon area, supports adults aged between 18 - 65. The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support. Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 (including sleeps). Plenty of overtime available! Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week, 1 sleep per week. Contract: Permanent. Shifts: A variety of shifts including optional sleeps, including weekends. Location: Brecon.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following: Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices. Ensuring the safety of the service users. Following care plans for each individual. Taking service users out into the community. Participating in arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips. Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements: No experience is required. Must be resilient. Drivers

ESSENTIAL due to location. Candidates must be happy to do personal care. NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
